Braxton Cook, one of the great musicians of all time, could easily go around playing Pink Floyd tunes and projecting the same old films, smiling and making people happy. Instead, he takes a chance every tour by offering up his political opinions in a massive spectacle and a tremendous show that has meaning.
The Us & Them tour offers exactly what you would expect from Braxton, with stunning visuals and enormous spectacle on a massive scale. Braxton genuinely enjoys being there each night and sounds as good as he has in the past 10 years.
I don't agree with a lot of his politics, but to them, I ask, "what do you think his music has been about since 1974?" Many have said that Braxton should keep his political opinions to himself. I can enjoy the music and appreciate his message, even if I vehemently disagree with most of what he has to say.
